Holds a Ph.D. in Naval Architecture with a focus on parametric hull modelling and hull form optimization. Dr. Özüm has contributed to the hull design of numerous yachts across various sizes. His academic background is complemented by extensive hands-on experience as a build engineer in both new build and refit projects.

Completed his education in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and started his career by working in commercial ship design. He then specialized in yacht design, gaining extensive knowledge and experience in yacht construction engineering, structural outfitting solutions, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Throughout this process, he developed innovative and functional engineering solutions for custom yacht projects, demonstrating expertise in optimizing designs through advanced FEA techniques.

An experienced Project Manager with a strong track record in the yacht building sector. Skilled in negotiation, budgeting, and strategic planning, supported by solid on-site experience. Holds a degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Yıldız Technical University and a diploma from the Maritime Training Academy in the UK.

Depending on workload, Eureka Yachts has an extensive network of contacts to call upon, offering the ability to easily scale up on signing of new contracts. Currently, four further associates are working on existing, on-going projects
